    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a circuit scale becomes large and leads to cost increase in order to avoid these problems that a B-CAS card may short-circuit since an insertion slot of the B-CAS card requiring power is open to the outside, and reliability of components for supplying the power is reduced when a certain period of time is required until the short circuit is reached, when the short circuit is a halfway layer short circuit or when short circuiting/open circuiting is repeated.SOLUTION: A voltage for shifting a transistor 2 to saturation is determined by voltages mostly divided by a resistor 1 and a resistor 9 when a high level voltage is applied to an on/off terminal, but a voltage for shifting the transistor 2 to interception can operate a short circuit protection circuit from a high voltage increased by only insertion of a resistor 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption during standby time of a monitoring camera, and to reduce cost for a detection sensor by the detection of a moving body using a radio wave of a radio communication network.SOLUTION: Without introduction of a new sensor for abnormality detection, abnormality is detected by monitoring variation in values of receiving signal intensity detection circuits mounted on radio transceiver functions 13 and 23 mounted on station terminals 11 and 21 of a monitoring camera system. Using the abnormality detection as each trigger for the operation of a camera 18 or an arbitrary sensor 28 and a recording device 5, the power consumption during the standby state is reduced, and the capacity of a storage device is saved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a use-time constraint due to use of battery-based power supply for an LNB (Low Noise Block) circuit placed at a parabola antenna for receiving a satellite-television broadcasting. SOLUTION: The use-time constraint is eliminated by restricting the power supply for the LNB circuit 2 to an AC adapter 8 only. Presence or absence of the AC-adapter-based power supply is detected, and if the absence is detected, short-circuit detection information is not made effective and the state of setting the LNB circuit is not changed. Thus, timer-based video recording or the like can be performed smoothly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent reception environment by extending a plurality of local oscillation circuits, reducing mutual interference caused when the same channel is simultaneously selected, and reducing interference of a clock being used inside a device.
SOLUTION: In a broadcast signal receiver in which a plurality of tuners can be mounted, a setting value to be set to an intermediate frequency conversion circuit 9 for controlling an oscillation frequency is optimally distributed so that, when the plurality of tuners are mounted and the same channel is simultaneously received, a plurality of local oscillation circuits 10 are prevented from incurring mutual interference to deteriorate reception. As a method of distribution, an IIC bus address allocated to each device is recognized, thereby detecting the number of tuners. Furthermore, an ID indicating a system ID of a tuner board is set to an MPEG processing means 8. The system ID set to the MPEG processing means 8 is recognized. Thus, by detecting the number of local oscillation circuits, the frequency setting value is distributed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an amplifier, obtaining constant output amplitude according to the amplifier of an input signal by detecting and smoothing the output signal of a voltage control amplification circuit and feeding back the gain control signal of an amplification circuit. SOLUTION: The amplitude of the input signal is detected in a level detection circuit 106 from the output of a voltage control amplification circuit 105 and is smoothed. Then, it is supplied to the control terminal (a) of the circuit 105. Thus, the gain of the circuit 105 is controlled according to the amplitude of the input signal and it is amplified, so that the amplitude of the output signal becomes almost uniform. When the amplitude of the input signal is large. For example, the amplitude of the output sound signal of the circuit 105 becomes large. Thus, the circuit 106 detects it and controls a control signal level supplied to the terminal (a) of the circuit 105, so that the gain becomes small and the gain of the circuit 105 is reduced. Thus, the amplitude of the output sound signal is reduced, and the output sound signal is made uniform. Therefore, a circuit operates as an amplitude restriction circuit.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an easily attachable and detachable structure of a frame which is used to hold a display panel, such as LCD panel, in a way as to enhance its rigidity and to prevent the failure thereof by repetition of attachment and detachment. CONSTITUTION:A frame body 15 is formed to an annular shape enclosing a liquid crystal cell 14 including the LCD panel 11 and its peripheral circuits, etc., and has hollow grooves 23 into which the outer peripheral edges of the liquid crystal cell 14 fit on its inner peripheral surface. This frame body 15 is dividable in a circumferential direction. An engaging projection 17 is formed at one of pair each of end faces 16a, 16b of the frame body 15 and an engaging recess 18 is formed at the other end. Then, the easy and rapid attachment of the liquid crystal cell 14 to and out of the frame body 15 are possible. The plastic deformation of the frame body 15 does not arise at the time of the attachment and the detachment and there is no possibility of a failure of the frame body 15 in spite of repetition of the attachment and the detachment.

    • PURPOSE:To uniformly maintain a cell thickness even if mechanical and electrical forces act on the cell and to prevent the degradation in quality by spraying hard plastic beads on the insulating film of one substrate and baking the beads, thereby fixing the beads as the spacers in the cell. CONSTITUTION:The insulating film 4 is provided on the upper substrate 2 provided with transparent electrodes 3 and the hard plastic beads 5 are sprayed on the insulating film 4 by a solvent consisting of a liquid mixture composed of alcohol and water and are baked at a prescribed temp. An oriented film 6 is thereafter formed, baked and subjected to an orientation treatment by rubbing. The upper and lower substrates 2, 2 are stuck to each other and a liquid crystal material 8 is injected therebetween. Namely, the uniform cell gap is obtd. by using the hard plastic beads 5. Since the hard plastic beads 5 are fixed by the insulating film 4 and are provided only on the one side substrate 2 and, therefore, there is no need for a special adhesive in the stage and the clouding of the insulating film is obviated. In addition, the movement of the plastic beads by the mechanical and electrical stresses does not arise.
